    One thing also that we take for granted is that what happens if our computer crashes. There are a lot of software programs out there and some are bundled with anti-virus programs that backups our data at a predetermined time or automatically set when a drive failure is eminent. One of the best way to get our backups is to store it on another portable drive instead of partitioning your current one to put your back up. A terabyte external hard drive fits the bill. It is capable enough to backup your whole drive and then some but you can go over board and get the 2 or 3 terabyte external drive if you wish but at this time, cost can be a factor whereas a 1 terabyte drive will only cost around $100-150.
