To protect your system from a big mistake, you can use the new disk in order to create a common ASR (Automatic System Recovery) at regular intervals. The recovery wizard automatically creates a backup system in two parts that are used for the system after the rest of recovery methods to restore or change the hard drive fails.
ASR is a backup of system state, related to system services and all disks, components of the operating system. It is also a boot disk, copy the information on safety, driving parameters: (with volumes of basic and dynamic), and instructions on how to perform a restore.
