An IP phone is a new technology of this century. An IP phone, a phone that sends the traffic over a TCP / IP. An IP phone uses the technology of Voice over IP allows telephone calls over an IP network like the Internet instead of the ordinary PSTN system. Calls can be made on the Internet or private IP network to browse, like a business. The phones used to control protocols such as Session Initiation Protocol, Skinny Client Control Protocol or one of various proprietary protocols, as used by Skype. IP phones can be simple software-based Softphones or custom-designed hardware devices, which seem very much like a standard phone or cordless phone.
